Shift Transport/distribution Coordinator
Job Description
Job Summary English-speaking Commercial Gr.12;Comp.Lit/Excel.;2 years of admin, experience in (food/ FMCG) distribution/outsourced transporters. Keep accurate record of Driver's licences & PDPs/ ensure that planned Driver training/key task assessment takes place/constant communication with Drivers and weighbridge staff/briefing and debriefing of Drivers.Support monitoring of daily /weekly/monthly deadlines/ensure trucks leave site on time/that tracking is done on own and outsourced vehicles/coordinate & manage tracker/control system/report late/non-deliveries/ monitor vehicles' kilometers & Service Plans with suppliers/ensure vehicle inspections/repair arrangements/manage & ensure extended life of trucks.Work with electronic reports from outside suppliers/recon diesel usage and calculations/manage E-toll & Bankfin recons/manage traffic fines & recover costs from responsible parties/request purchase orders for dept./track & control budget vs actual expenses/report all issues timeously to Distribution Manager.East Rand.
