Shift Setter
Job Description
A leading plastics packaging company is looking for an experienced Shift Setter with strong mechanical and electrical aptitude to join their production team in Pinetown, KwaZulu-Natal. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in machine setting, blow moulding, and working within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform machine setting and adjustments to ensure smooth production operations
Monitor and maintain production processes in a blowpack environment
Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues
Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and production standards
Work shifts to support continuous production requirements
Requirements:
Minimum N3 in mechanical or electrical subjects (N4 or higher preferred)
Mechanical or electrical aptitude
At least 3 years' experience in an FMCG production environment
Exposure to blow moulding (advantageous)
Proven setting and/or mechanical experience (essential)
Willingness and ability to work shifts
Own reliable transport (essential)
