Job SummaryHire Resolve is currently seeking a skilled Shift Millwright to join their client's team in the mining industry. As a Shift Millwright, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment in a mining operation. You will work in shifts to ensure continuous operation and minimize downtime. Safety and adherence to protocols will be a top priority in this role.Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
- Repair or replace defective parts as necessary
- Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and prevent breakdowns
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines
- Grade 12
- Trade Tested Millwright
- Minimum of years of experience as a millwright in the mining industry
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in shifts and adapt to changing schedules
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of mining safety regulations and procedures
- Salary: R450K-R600K
