Introduction
Are you a results-driven leader with a strong background in mining operations? Our client, a leading mining company in Mpumalanga, is looking for an experienced and qualified Shift Loading & Hauling Supervisor to oversee load out operations and ensure the efficient utilization of loading equipment. This role is vital in achieving daily production targets through effective planning, coordination, and leadership of shift resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise day-to-day loading and hauling operations during your shift
Manage and liaise with contractors to ensure performance and compliance
Control shift-related budgets and costs
Provide clear people supervision and frontline leadership to operators
Champion continuous improvement initiatives and production efficiency
Ensure strict adherence to SHERQ (Safety, Health, Environment, Risk, and Quality) standards
Promote strong work ethics and a culture of accountability across teams
Minimum Requirements:
Grade 12 / Matric Certificate
First Line Supervision Certificate or equivalent (NQF Level 4 - 150 credits)
Programme in First Line Management will be an advantage
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Senior Process Controller (automated load out plant, preferably iron ore)
Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory or team/project leadership role within a mining production environment
Rail operations experience highly advantageous
