Job Summary
Job Overview:
The SHEQ Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, coordination and maintenance for all safety, health, environmental, and quality policies and programmes
Minimum requirements:
- Relevant Diploma
- SAMTRAC certificate
- Professional registration (SACPCMP / MQA / SASOM?)
- First Aid / Fire Prevention
- ISO 9001 Auditor
- 5+ years' experience within the same or similar role
- Exposure to and understanding of OHSAS and ISO
- Implementing H&S in a technical, complex environment
- Development of SHEQ system compliant to ISO standards (9001; 14001 & 45001)
- Implement of SHEQ system compliant to ISO standards (9001; 14001 & 45001)
- Maintaining of SHEQ system according to ISO standards (9001; 14001 & 45001)
- Risk assessments
- Incident investigations
- Internal SHEQ auditing as required by ISO standards (9001; 45001 & 45001)
- In house training of personnel on ISO standards (9001; 14001 & 45001) and their roles and responsibilities in the system
- Contractors' management - compliance to internal and customer SHEQ requirements
- ISO certification of SHEQ system according to ISO standards (9001; 14001 & 45001) by an external accredited certification body and maintaining certification
- Coordinate all related SHEQ functions in and around the facilities
- Adhere to the policies and procedures of the company to ensure effective and efficient day-to-day management.
- Perform any other tasks, not specified herein, which may from time to time be requested by management.
