SHEQ Administrator

WHAT IS ON OFFER





Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a SHEQ Administrator. The role is responsible for the day-to-day administrative tasks within South Africa. Working closely with the Regional HSE Manager, Safety Officer and sites to ensure safety objectives are met. Maintain the quality system for the Safety Department and adhere to render administrative support in respect of compliance with all HSE issues and training.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES





To be successful, the incumbent will need to display the following:



REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE

Essential




Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team and across departments Proficient in Microsoft and Google Office Suite Good knowledge and understanding of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and regulations Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal



Required Competencies




Ability to demonstrate literacy and numeracy skills Ability to to manage quality control within the Safety Department Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team



Required Work Experience




Experience as an Office Administrator in Quality and HSE (is an advantage) Minimum of 3 years experience in an Occupational Health and Safety environment with a proven track record in meeting HSE requirements and implementing effective safety practices



Required Qualifications




Grade 12 (Mathematics, Science and English as completed subjects) Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety & Environmental Studies SAMTRAC - Certificate ISO450001 and ISO14001 Valid Drivers Licence



Required Languages




Proficient in English (Verbal and written)
