Job Summary Responsibilities: o Develop and implement site-specific safety plans, including risk assessments and hazard identification o Conduct regular safety inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations o Provide safety training and inductions to employees, contractors, and visitors o Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence o Prepare and submit safety reports, including incident reports, safety statistics, and compliance reports o Ensure compliance with relevant safety legislation, regulations, and standards, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act o Communicate and coordinate with relevant stakeholders Qualifications: o Must have an active registered as CHSO with SACPCMP o National Diploma NQF6 or higher Experience: o S.H.E Officer experience preferably in the road construction industry o Must have excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, as well as strong attention to detail and organizational skills o Willing to relocate.
