The SHE Coordinator is responsible to support the Implementation of SHE standards, ensures compliance with safety standards, Maintaining Documentation and Supporting the SHE Objectives.
Focus Area 1
Administration
Organise and maintain electronic SHE records
Manage supplier/contractor and business safety files including Audits
Administrate the Employees SHE Training and Medicals
Ensure all staff is provided with appropriate Personal protective equipment
Ensures documentation, including Audit records are in place
Maintain SHE related records, including incident reports, compliance certifications, and audit logs
Compile and distribute monthly SHE performance reports to Management and share Weekly safety updates
Align with SHE Controller to Manage incident reporting onsite
Participate in effective problem solving that are SHE related
Focus Area 2
Health and Safety
Maintain safety standards as per ISO standards
Facilitate workplace health programs, including wellness checks and medical surveillance as required
Integrating SHE principles into business plans and operations
Focus Area 3
Support Manufacturing excellence program
Support SHE pillar roll out in all areas of the brewery
Support 5S roll out
Take part in all relevant team meetings & make full use of Visual management for SHE
Take part in relevant problem solving
Requirements of the Role
National Diploma in Safety Management
Sound knowledge of PC and Microsoft office
Minimum of 1-3-year experience in an FMCG environment
Preferred Skills/Competencies
Willing and able to work extended hours (overtime) as and/or when required
Compliance with OHSAct standards
Active participation in daily board room Briefings
Work in teams
Good Record Keeping
