Job SummaryHire Resolve's client in the Construction Industry is seeking the expertise of a SHE Officer in Cape Town. This role demands a vigilant and proactive approach to ensure the highest standards of health and safety are not only met but exceededResponsibilities:

• Monitoring and auditing contractor safety performances.
• Implementing Health and Safety in a construction environment.
• Ensuring compliance with OHSAS 18001 (ISO 45001), ISO 14001, and ISO 9001.
• Overseeing the overall responsibility and compliance of the Company's Health & Safety, making sure staff are aware and follow safety protocol.
• Conducting and organizing relevant health and safety training for staff.
• Conducting risk assessments in line with legislation and maintaining records.
• Investigating accidents and near-misses, recording findings.
• Compiling and managing traffic management plans and routine checks.

Requirements

• Relevant Diploma in Health and Safety Management/SAMTRAC or NEBOSH Certificate.
• Professional registration as a Construction Safety Officer with SACPCMP.
• First Aid Level 2 Basic Certificate.
• Basic Fire Fighting certification.
• Experience with Environmental Training.
• Valid driver's license with own vehicle.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role.
• Previous multi-site experience is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Self-motivated and capable of working with minimal supervision.
