About the Role

We are seeking a

SharePoint Support Engineer

with solid experience across

SharePoint On-Premise, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive

environments. The ideal candidate will have

deep hands-on technical knowledge of SharePoint On-Premise

, including

installation, configuration, and maintenance

, while also supporting users in

Microsoft 365 (M365)

environments.


This role involves providing end-to-end support, troubleshooting, and assisting with platform upgrades and migrations. Exposure to

Power Apps

and

Power Automate

will be beneficial for supporting workflow and automation requests.

Key Responsibilities

Administer, support, and maintain

SharePoint On-Premise

environments (installation, configuration, patching, performance tuning, and backup/recovery). Provide day-to-day

operational support

for

SharePoint Online

and

OneDrive for Business

. Troubleshoot and resolve SharePoint issues related to permissions, performance, content access, and integrations. Support

data migrations

between On-Premise and Online environments using migration tools (e.g., ShareGate, Metalogix, etc.). Assist with site collections, document libraries, workflows, and user permissions. Collaborate with internal teams to maintain governance, security, and compliance best practices. Support low-code automation and forms using

Power Apps

and

Power Automate

. Provide documentation, knowledge transfer, and user training when required.

Skills & Experience Required

5+ years experience

supporting

SharePoint On-Premise (2013/2016/2019)

environments. Strong understanding of

SharePoint architecture

, farm setup, service applications, and central administration. Experience with

SharePoint Online / M365

administration. Familiarity with

Power Apps

and

Power Automate

(basic to intermediate level). Knowledge of

OneDrive for Business

management and synchronization troubleshooting. Understanding of

data migration tools

(ShareGate, Metalogix, etc.) is advantageous. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with

Active Directory

,

SQL Server

, and

IIS

related to SharePoint environments. Familiarity with

Teams and Exchange Online

integrations. Scripting experience (PowerShell) for automation and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

Relevant IT Diploma or Degree preferred. * Microsoft 365 or SharePoint certifications advantageous.
