Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Sewing Department Supervisor to oversee our sewing operations. The ideal candidate will ensure production efficiency, quality standards, and a safe working environment within the sewing department.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the sewing team Ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards Train and mentor sewing staff on techniques and safety procedures Monitor sewing machine performance and coordinate maintenance as needed Implement and enforce safety protocols and quality control measures Collaborate with the planning team to meet production schedules Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members
Qualifications:
Proven experience in sewing operations and supervising a team Strong knowledge of sewing techniques, fabrics, and machinery Excellent leadership and communication skills Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues Attention to detail and commitment to quality Good organizational and time-management skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with industrial sewing machines and equipment maintenance Knowledge of production planning and workflow optimization
