Your mission as a Service Technician

Your mission as a Service Technician will be to drive the success of the Epiroc Surface Drill Rigs product line by leveraging deep technical expertise and a commitment to excellence.

What you'll do

Provide specialized support for Epiroc machine systems, including automation technologies. Perform scheduled services and breakdown repairs on Epiroc RCS and equipment. Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers. Coach Epiroc and mine site employees on operating, troubleshooting, and repairing Epiroc autonomous and other equipment systems. Perform fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions. Promote and market Field Service work, as well as other Aftermarket services and products, to customers to support the growth of the Aftermarket Department. Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) initiatives to identify recurring failures and collaborate with the Product Company to develop sustainable solutions. Contribute to productivity and efficiency improvement projects. Take responsibility for the safe storage, maintenance, and management of company vehicles and equipment. Liaise with Epiroc Product Company Engineering representatives to enhance product development. Conduct predefined tests on behalf of the Product Company and report on findings. Be available for travel as required to perform duties and participate in training. Provide standby support as required. Assist with spare parts inquiries and participate in on-site stocking activities as needed.

What you'll bring

In-depth technical knowledge of Epiroc Surface Rotary Blasthole Drills. Minimum of 2 years of mining industry experience. Advanced troubleshooting skills for Remote Control Systems (RCS). Experience with Trimble High Precision GPS systems. Valid driver's license. Grade 12 Relevant trade certification (Millwright will be advantageous)
