Job Description
The incumbent will report to the Team Leader Services (CPT) and will be responsible for the following key areas pertaining to the machinery related to the meat and beverage industries:
Job & Company Description:
For 80 years, the Company has supplied equipment, service and consumables to the Food and Beverage industries in Southern Africa, and represents a number of first-class European equipment manufacturers and, in most cases, such representation has spanned over many years.
Duties:
- Assembling equipment and attachments.
- Connecting equipment to utilities provided by customer.
- Conducting tests to ensure that machinery is fully operational according to manufacturers specifications.
- Conducting machine demonstrations with product and customers operator/technical personnel.
- Introducing customer/technical personnel to the manufacturers operation and technical manuals, and specifically the safety procedures.
- Emphasising the correct use of operating and technical manuals.
- Obtaining customer sign-off and returning relevant documentation for filing purposes.
- Tertiary Qualification (Trade Test) Essential, with a technical background in food Processing
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
- Drivers License
- Applicants must be prepared to spend time away from home (local and overseas).
- Minimum 5 years in the FMCG environment.
