Service Desk And Operations Manager

Job Description
IT Service Desk & Operations Manager within ITSM as defined by ITIL, will be responsible for IT support for users, be in charge of the RUN domain of the MIS department but may be asked to assist the Build team when its required
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organise and assigned tasks to the team
- Manage IT Hardware resouces
- Ensure a, ITIL MIS Support process
- Single point of contact for helpdesk, ITSM ticketing, troubleshooting, logs analyse, reporting, Centre on monitoring
- Ensure production follow-up
- Ensure data & Systems Backups
- Manage IT infrastructure related contracts and SLA
- Apply organisations security and licensing policies
- IT Hardware resource management
- IT Service Desk management
- Infrastructure Management
- Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science
- 10 - 15 years relevant IT experience
- ITIL foundations certified
- Knowledge in network / telecom (Fortigates certifications)
- Knowledge in VMWare virtualisation technology environment.
