About the Role:
The Service Centre Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for customer queries, ensuring a professional, responsive, and seamless client experience. This role is key in driving customer retention, improving service delivery, and fostering continuous improvement in customer support operations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound calls and respond to written queries promptly and effectively
  • Analyse customer feedback and identify root causes of service breakdowns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve the overall client journey
  • Promote digital self-service tools and encourage adoption
  • Accurately document all customer interactions and maintain service records
  • Meet daily performance targets and uphold service excellence
  • Stay updated on products, systems, and compliance requirements
  • Deliver insights and trends to improve customer engagement strategies
Qualifications requirements:
  • Matric (required)
  • NQF Level 5 or equivalent (preferred)
  • RE5 certification is an advantage
Experience:
  • 23 years in sales and client service roles
  • 12 years in life insurance, especially with a focus on retention
  • Experience in managing and improving customer experience
