Job Purpose
The SEO Manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies to optimise online visibility across search engines and location-based platforms. The role exists to increase website traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance local discoverability, supporting business growth through digital performance. The manager combines technical SEO expertise with local search engine optimisation (GEO) to ensure maximum reach and engagement.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute SEO and GEO strategies to improve organic rankings, web traffic, and online visibility.
Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and site audits to identify opportunities for optimisation.
Optimise website content, metadata, and technical elements to align with search engine algorithms.
Manage and optimise Google Profile and local citations.
Monitor and report on SEO/GEO performance using analytics and SEO tools.
Collaborate with marketing, content and web development to deliver integrated digital strategies.
Stay up to date with changes in search engine algorithms, digital trends and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or related fields, or equivalent experience
Minimum 2 years experience in EO and digital marketing, with proven results in improving organic ranking
Strong knowledge of on-page and off-page and technical SEO best practices.
Experience managing local SEO/GEO optimisation, including Google Business Profile and local listing.
Proficiency with SEO tools.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills.
