We (our client) are looking for a strong service manager who understands processes and procedures and comes from a large dealer - dealing with high volume as well as high pressure environment.
Must have 5 years' experience as a Dealership Service Manager within the Automotive Industry
Must be able to manage and work in a high volume as well as high pressure environment workshop.
Must be able to think out of the Box,
Be a self-starter
Providing an informative, professional, and friendly link between the customer and the workshop ensuring guaranteed customer satisfaction.
Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans, both written and spoken.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of challenging situations at one time.
Physically fit to handle the physical demands of this position to perform their job function.
Daily management of Work in Progress to ensure smooth running of the workshop and resulting in excellent quality service delivery.
Management of staff (both technical and administrative) ensuring all processes and procedures are followed to maximise workshop profitability and quality.
General management, ensuring all policies and procedures are followed relating to loan vehicles, warranty age analysis, training etc.
Mathematical skills and ability to calculate figures relating to discounts, percentages, commissions etc.
Computer literacy skills to include Automate / CMS and MS Office
Valid drivers' license with no endorsements. Clear criminal and ITC record
Must be able to put policies and procedures in place
Relevant Trade Qualifications
Must be a South African Citizen
