Job Description
A company based in Pretoria with experience in Engineering maintenance projects is looking for a
Senior Unit Plant Operator
for a 4 year contract in Ellisras.Requirements:
Grade 12/N3 plus NQF4 National Certificate in Coal Fired Power Plant Process Operations as a minimum qualification Years of experience: 3-5 years working as a Power Plant Operator

Skills and Competencies
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Coal Fired Power Plant Experience is essential
Key Responsibilities:
Execute electrical isolations and issue safety documents for LV and HV systems. Prepare plant for service Inspect plant/equipment after maintenance has been completed Conduct risk assessment on critical operating activities Ensure full compliance. Perform switching schedules and manage electrical energy sources. Work closely with the control room and maintenance teams to enable safe work.
