Job Summary Senior Travel Designer - Luxury Travel Company | Cape Town Kendrick Recruitment is seeking a highly experienced and professional Senior Travel Designer to join a distinguished luxury travel company based in Cape Town. This is an exciting opportunity for a travel specialist passionate about crafting bespoke African journeys for a discerning international clientele, delivering experiences that are highly personalised, seamless, and memorable. Requirements: Minimum of 5 years' experience in bespoke luxury travel, safari planning, or high-end client service Extensive knowledge of African destinations, particularly Southern and East Africa Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with high-net-worth clients, ideally within boutique or founder-led environments Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural flair for hospitality and service excellence Proficiency in CRM systems (Zoho or similar), itinerary builders (e.g., WETU, Safari Portal), and Microsoft Office Valid passport and driver's licence Reliable internet connection to support hybrid working Key Responsibilities: Curate and design bespoke itineraries across Africa with attention to detail, authenticity, and elegance Deliver a personalised, relationship-led service to discerning clients Ensure flawless execution of all travel experiences, from initial enquiry to post-travel follow-up Balance creativity, experience, and client budgets to craft exceptional journeys Maintain and nurture partnerships with lodges, guides, and service providers to ensure the highest standards of travel experiences Package & Working Arrangements: Competitive salary, negotiable depending on experience Hybrid role with one day per week in the Cape Town office Opportunity to work with a boutique, high-end clientele and contribute to luxury travel experiences across Africa To apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, qualifications, and a recent head & shoulders photo today Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
