Our client in the Hospitality industry is currently looking for a Senior Traffic Manager, in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
To oversee the workflow of creative projects from inception to completion.
Management of deadlines.
Ensuring that the creative team has clarity on job requirements prior to commencing the project.
Managing workload and ensuring jobs are delivered to relevant parties on time.
Consideration to accommodate, prioritize and coordinate fast tracked jobs.
Responsible for the administration function of the groupxe2x80x99s workflow management system; Magnetic.
Reviewing output performance and sending out productivity, income and creative output reports on a monthly basis.
Supporting the Creative Team Leads (CTLs) to work out the human and material resources needed to complete projects.
Assisting the team to estimate a timescale for the job tasking.
Liaising among different departments, e.g., designers, suppliers, brand managers, etc.
Working with the CTLs to implement the company's policies and goals.
Ensuring that creative guidelines are followed.
Supporting and motivating the creative team to sustain high levels of productivity.
Identifying training needs.
Assist Production Team lead and Group Creative Head to enhance the reputation of the studio by working constructively, consistently and with creative flair.
Work in collaboration with the Group Creative Head, Traffic Manager, Production Manager, Designers and Clients to ensure that the requirements of the brief are met in a timely manner.
Take responsibility for the quality of their output by consulting as and when required.
Work with other staff from the design team and brand team to develop concepts ready for client presentation.
Use analytical skills to interpret briefs and make accurate decisions to allocate the project accordingly.
Communicate effectively and accurately, both orally and in writing, to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Maintain effective high standards of output across the Brand Family.
Maintain an archiving and cataloging process of all material worked on for others to easily access.
Strong ability to analyse and problem solve within Studio capacity.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines and take responsibility for timelines of agreed deliverables (own and subordinates).
Strict adherence to company philosophy, mission statement, vision and values.
Requirements:
5 - 7 years Traffic experience in the Advertising/Marketing industry.
3 years of experience on Magnetic or similar workflow management systems.
3 years Traffic Administration experience.
5 Years of overall/general Administration experience.
Strong computer skills are essential.
Proficiency in spreadsheet, word processing, presentation, electronic workflow and desktop publishing software applications are critical.
Knowledge of data management and project management tools are highly advantageous.
Good interpersonal skills and communication with management and subordinates.
