Requirements
National Diploma in Electrical Engineering
ECSA registration as Professional Engineering Technician (Pr
Techni Eng)
Class 4 Meter Worker certification
5 -8 years (post first relevant tertiary qualification) CT and VT
metering experience.
South African Code B driver's license
Key Performance Areas
Provide specialized functional support in accordance with SANS
474:
"Code of Practice for electricity metering" in the execution ofduties.
Understanding and execution of SAP processes pertaining to the
execution of tasks.
Supervision of staff by risk assessing and completing required
safety documentation, monitor activities, manage staff in
absence of management.
Support the measurement function by ensuring correction
installations, fault-finding, commissioning and re-commissioning.
Support relating to specified organizational units such as
Measurement Operations and Measurement Automation.
General administrative functions including budgeting and
reporting.
