Job Description
Are you an analytical and logical problem-solver with specialist knowledge of group tax compliance and tax reporting?
A leading fintech company is looking for a Senior Tax Specialist to join their Taxation team. This individual will be required to manage and execute some of, but not limited to, the following: tax projects, accounting, compliance, audits and risk mitigation.
Duties:
- Implement internal controls & and processes
- Manage tax audits
- Maintain tax balances in GL
- Implement and coordinate the transfer pricing process
- VAT and tax reconciliations
- Indirect tax (Dividends Tax, Withholding Tax on Interest, etc.) and direct tax filing
- Tax legislation, policies and procedures
- Tax due diligence & tax risks
- Tax reporting processes and templates
- BCom Finance, Accounting or Taxation
- Postgrad in Taxation xe2x80x93 NB!
- Min. 5 years' experience in Taxation
- Min. 2 years Financial Services
- SAIT Registered (Tax Professional/Practitioner)
- CA(SA) - preferred
