Key Accountability and Responsibility
1.Preparation and review of all engineering documentation including, but not limited to the following documents: functional design specifications, cable block diagrams, I/O lists, instrumentation calculations, P&ID's, control narratives, system architecture drawings, system cabinet layout, wiring and power distribution drawings.
2.Ensure systems engineering and design deliverables are developed and issued in accordance with project schedule and procedures.
3.Implementation of major software application packages.
4.Apply company and project procedures and ensure engineering and design compliance.
5.Assist the PM to develop and maintain project schedules.
6.Compiling of FAT and SAT documentation as well as "End of Job" Documentation.
7.Present training on systems from time to time as required.
8.Stay abreast of strategic and engineering solution developments on Yokogawa products.
9.Understanding of competitors and associated products.
10.Stay abreast of latest technology developments and improvements in the engineering industry.
11.Work closely with other engineers, exchanging engineering information.
12.Support the Project Manager / Departmental Manager in technical issues.
13.Assist the Sales team with the production of technically and commercially acceptable proposals, tender documents and bid submissions by checking and agreeing to key elements affecting engineering execution.
14.Provide guidance and training to less experienced engineers within personal areas of expertise.
15.Compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all engineering activities.
16.Conducting work in accordance with company safety and quality policies and procedures.
