Role purposeWe are looking for a talented and motivated Systems Analyst with experience in Scrum methodologies to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analysing, designing, and implementing software systems, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives. This role ensures that business requirements are effectively translated into scalable, efficient, and innovative system solutions, bridging the gap between technology, product teams, and business stakeholders.Key Responsibilities1. Needs Analysis & System Design

  • Work with product owners, stakeholders, and developers to gather, analyse, and refine business requirements.
  • Translate requirements into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for development.
  • Ensure solutions are secure, scalable, and adaptable to evolving business needs.
  • Bridge the gap between business and IT, facilitating a clear understanding of technical requirements.
  • Document technical specifications, workflows, and data models, aligning system design with best practices.
2. Scrum Practices & Stakeholder Management
  • Act as a key member of the Scrum team, participating in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Facilitate communication between the development team, product owner, and other stakeholders.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into business-friendly language for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the team to estimate effort and plan sprint backlogs.
3. Quality Assurance & User Story Refinement
  • Assist in the refinement of user stories, ensuring they are well-defined, prioritised, and ready for development.
  • Work closely with QA teams to ensure that developed features meet specified acceptance criteria and quality standards.
  • Participate in testing activities to validate system functionality.
  • Support product testing, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis of system-related issues
4. Integration and API Documentation
  • Design and implement system integrations to ensure seamless data flow between applications.
  • Develop and maintain API documentation to facilitate integration and usage by other developers.
  • Ensure APIs are secure, reliable, and performant.
5. Data Management & Reporting
  • Review and verify system data to ensure accuracy for business decisions.
  • Create reports and dashboards to monitor product performance and system efficiency.
  • Ensure data security and compliance with governance policies.
6. Continuous Improvement
  • Actively participate in retrospective meetings to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance team efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and recommend system improvements.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging technologies.
  • Participate in the process design or re-design and translate business/user requirements/ processes into a system design
  • Provide knowledge transfer and support to team members.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years experience in systems analysis or a related role.
  • Good knowledge of the Investment Administration environment would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of system development life cycles (SDLC).
  • Proficiency with system analysis tools and methodologies.
  • Experience with project management tools and techniques such as Scrum and Agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of database management and SQL would be an advantage.
  • Expert knowledge of systems development processes (methodologies, SDLC, API documentation, development and testing techniques).
  • Expert knowledge and understanding of the IT industry, especially in relation to application development.

  • Stakeholder Management: The ability to identify, engage, and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholders that have an interest in or influence over a project, initiative, or organisational outcome, with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail.
