Senior Structural Steel Detailer

Job Description
We're seeking an experienced Senior Structural Steel Detailer. to join the dynamic, multi-branched JTC Buiilding Systems team. This is a full-time position offered after a successful 3-6 month probation period. You'll be responsible for utilizing Tekla Structures and 3D modelling, preparation of renders and GA drawings. If you're a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection, we want to hear from you.
Desired Qualifications & Experience
National Diploma in Structural Steelwork Detailing (NQF Level 5) Modelling of built sections/plate girders. Minimum 7 years experience in Tekla.
Key Responsibilities
Produce detailed fabrication and erection drawings. (Tekla) Manage and coordinate detailing projects like shop detailing and preparation of material lists. Ensure accuracy and quality control. Interpret engineering designs and specifications. 3D modelling and preparation of renders and GA drawings.
