Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Storeperson to join our dynamic warehousing team. As a Senior Storeperson, you will play a critical role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of goods.Tasks

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Oversee the receipt and inspection of incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met
• Manage inventory levels and stock rotation to optimize space utilization and minimize stockouts
• Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, reconcile discrepancies, and generate reports
• Conduct regular stock takes and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy
• Coordinate with purchasing and procurement teams to replenish stock in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to maintain a safe working environment
• Troubleshoot any issues related to warehouse operations and implement solutions to improve efficiency
• Train and mentor junior warehouse staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development

Requirements

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment, with at least [insert number] years in a senior or supervisory role
