Our client has an opportunity available for a Senior Storeman based in the East Rand.

Requirements:

Matric or an equivalent NQF level 4
South African ID
Open to all South Africans
Relevant experience as a store man or logistics manager or production manager controlling inventory and stock
Stock controlling experience a MUST
Must be from engineering or manufacturing or FMCG
Fluent in the English business language.
Valid driver's license is a MUST
SAP or Pragma On Key is a MUST

Responsibilities that you must have on your CV

Receive stock part orders into the system and place them into a physical location in the engineering store.
Assist with stock counts, cycle counts and returns to suppliers.
Ensure paperwork for stock orders are in place.
Ensure that the assigned area always adheres to Good Manufacturing Standards.
Ensure security, good housekeeping, and safety of stock in the store.
Manage Consignment stock and communicate with supplier on all issues.
Follow up on status stock replenishment invoices with suppliers.
Manage coal and diesel stock levels and issues.
Assist on ad hoc basis with the collecting of urgent spares or parts.
Control staff
Control stock levels and ordering of stock
Control stock takes
Stock levels
