RedCat Recruitment is seeking a SENIOR STOCK CONTROLLER for a well-established, growing concern, position based in the Nottingham Road Area, KwaZulu-Natal.

REQUIREMENTS

Grade 12.

Valid drivers license / own reliable transport.

Relevant qualification/s.

Strong computer skills (Email / Microsoft Office). Working knowledge on Opera system is ESSENTIAL!

Person must be able to speak, read and write in English.

4 yrs+ previous working experience. Hospitality and stock controlling experience is ESSENTIAL!

Full ownership of all aspects related to stock control.

Stock ordering for the business including beverages, food and housekeeping.

Management of bulk stock as well as stock within fixed outlets and inter-company transfers.

Sustain par stock levels during busy seasons and order stock for busier periods and large functions.

Responsible for the receiving of all food, beverage stock, cleaning materials, housekeeping items etc.

Maintaining costs and pricing to achieve set GP's in order to create frequent stock reports for management.

Assisting with menu costings, updating and maintenance of stock items, recipes and production receipts.

Purchase order creations and management.

Maintain relationships with suppliers.

Managing, capturing and investigating of daily, weekly and monthly stock counts.

Maintaining and forecasting of stock requirements for busy periods.

Weekends and odd public holidays will be required based on busy periods.
