Job Description
Senior Statistician - 2 year contract Seniority Level: Mid Career (4 - 6 yrs exp)
Type: Contractor - 2 years
Location: Durban, KwaZulu Natal
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Masters or Honours degree in Biostatistics, Statistics or related field
- 4 years of research and statistical analysis experience
- Proficiency in SAS, R, STATA, or similar tools
- Basic knowledge of clinical research and epidemiology
- High computer literacy in MS Office
- Experience in analyzing clinical trial or longitudinal data is a plus
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills to convey statistical concepts
- Provide statistical advice for clinical trial designs
- Undertake projects in Biostatistical methodology
- Analyze clinical trials and observational studies data
- Document study designs and analysis plans
- Prepare study reports and contribute to presentations
