Job Summary
Hire Resolve's Client, a reputable mining company in Gauteng, is currently looking for an experienced Senior Specialist Resource Geology to join their mining team. :
- BSc Honours in Geology or related postgraduate qualification in the Mineral Resource Management discipline
- Registered with the South African Council for Natural Scientific Professions (SACNASP)
- At least 5 years' geological modelling and mineral resource estimation experience in Geology / Mineral Resource Management
- Extensive knowledge in database management and grade estimation techniques and be proficient in the use of geological modelling and geostatistical software such as Leapfrog, Datamine and Supervisor
- Be declared medically fit for the position and environment, as determined by a risk-based medical examination at the Gold Fields Occupational Health Centre and pass a Heat Tolerance Screening test, and such other tests as may be required to assess the applicant's suitability for employment
