Job Summary Join a diverse team of dynamic model developers. We are looking for experienced Model Development Managers with a background as quantitative analysts developing PD, LGD and EAD models for Regulatory Capital and Impairments (IFRS9) models in a banking or consulting environment. We will expect you to take ownership of the full end-to-end model development lifecycle (development, implementation and governance) to meet relevant business as usual and project timelines.

Acting as the project lead for the development of IFRS9 and Regulatory Capital Models. This includes managing junior analyst assigned to the projects you are responsible for.
You will be involved in model developments, and your role will, to some degree, include mentoring, performance management, talent management and succession planning
You will be accountable for ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements, risk management frameworks and internal policies and standards and understand and manage risks and risk events (incidents) relevant to the process.
You will also play an active role in providing directional expertise to enhance model building skills across the team, including transferring knowledge and experience to junior team members and peers, and keep up with industry trends to ensure increased capacity to build models.
Your ability to effectively manage stakeholders across different functions is key.
Education
Bachelor`s Degrees and Advanced Diplomas: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required)
