Job Description

To lead, plan, execute and measure all public relations and event activities to enhance brand reputation, amplify media presence and strengthen stakeholder engagement across customer, media and internal audiences. This role ensures proactive media exposure, high-impact event execution, strong stakeholder communication and alignment with global and local brand and business goals.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities * Public Relations & Stakeholder Communications

  • Develop and implement an annual PR strategy in alignment with overall brand objectives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key media stakeholders across automotive, lifestyle, business and news outlets; securing earned coverage and exploring media trade exchange opportunities.
  • Drive proactive media coverage through compelling storytelling, press releases, media kits and brand narratives. Write and distribute press releases, editorial content and media kits that position Renault positively in the public eye.
  • Oversee the planning and coordination of media launch for new vehicles; coordinating all touchpoints and content to ensure brand impact.
  • Manage the media test drive programs and press fleet, including scheduling vehicles for maximum exposure with motoring and lifestyle media.
  • Act as the primary liaison for crisis communication and reputation management in partnership with the Head of Marketing & Legal if needed. Includes inquiries, interviews and crisis communication, ensuring timely, accurate and strategic responses.
  • Prepare and coordinate executive media interviews and public appearances. Develop EXCO-level brand presentations and speeches for strategic public and stakeholder engagements.
  • Collaborate with global PR teams for best practice alignment, access to content, assets and strategic direction.
  • Support internal communications initiatives and staff engagement where PR or events are involved.
  • Monitor media coverage, compile AVE reports and evaluate PR performance monthly and quarterly; ensuring internal visibility of external PR wins and event success.
  • Attend and represent Renault at industry PR events, awards and forums to strengthen network and thought leadership.
Events Management
  • Plan and execute high-impact media, brand and internal events aligned with the brand calendar. Ensure seamless end-to-end event delivery, including venue sourcing, supplier and agency management, logistics and guest experience.
  • Manage end-to-end logistics, including venue sourcing, supplier management, branding, staffing and guest experience.
  • Ensure brand consistency and premium execution at all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Digital, and Finance) to maximise event ROI.
  • Track budgets, negotiate with vendors and ensure cost-efficient execution without compromising brand quality.
  • Drive innovation in event formats, integrating digital and hybrid experiences where applicable to broaden reach and reduce cost.
  • Identify and manage Renault's presence at local and international auto shows and exhibitions.
  • Evaluate event performance post-activation to measure impact, gather feedback, and inform future planning.
  • Analyse industry and media trends to identify new opportunities and optimise performance.
  • Ensure financial governance, cost efficiency, and optimal supplier management across all PR and event activities.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing.
  • 6-8 years of progressive experience in PR, media relations, communications, and events management.
  • Experience with press fleet coordination, product launches and cross-functional project delivery.
  • Proven ability to manage external PR agencies, media partners and event service providers.
  • Familiarity with the automotive industry or similar B2C environment preferred.

Minimum Requiremnts
