Job Summary Candidate Requirements:

  • Must have previous experience working in a luxury safari lodge environment
  • Must be able to manage all aspects of operating a kitchen
  • Must be able to be creative in menu planning and food presentation
  • Stock control and costing reports
  • Must have good knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Comply with standards of service & assist in assuring the same from all kitchen staff
  • Ensure that work areas are always kept clean
  • Overseeing that all food items are prepared on time to quality standards
  • Creative & passionate about foods
  • Attention to detail
  • Good team player
  • Act in good faith & in the best interest of the Company at all times
  • Presentable, well-spoken individual
