Job Summary Senior Software Engineer, Cape Town, Western Cape, South Africa Our client, a Leader in the Software Engineering Sector is seeking to URGENTLY appoint a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience, ideally 8 or more, in software development and a degree in computer science or a related field. They will play a critical role in writing, reviewing, and maintaining code, both their own and others, while collaborating closely with other team members to ensure the success of assignments. KEY COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS Minimum 3-year Computer Programming related IT degree or diploma. Must have proven experience in web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). 8+ years of solid industry experience in designing and building software applications using C#, .Net and .Net Core. Experience in .NET, Entity Framework Core, ASP. Net Core. Experience in developing web applications, server, and cloud-based technologies. Experience in Microsoft Azure advantageous. Experience with Typescript with JavaScript frameworks like Angular, VUE and React. Exposure to being part of an Agile development team is required. Exposure to containerization technologies. Exposure to Micro Service and Micro Front-end architectures advantageous. Exposure to OAuth advantageous. Exposure to Web back-end technologies (e.g., SOAP, REST) experience.
