Education & Experience:

• Grade 12 Certificate, Degree/Diploma in ICT/Computer Science or equivalent, with a minimum of 8 years of related experience in software development.

Technical Expertise:

• Microsoft Visual Studio (2019+),
• MS SQL,
• .Net Framework (v4+),
• C#, Windows Forms,
• Windows Services, WCF/Web Services,
• WPF,
• MVVM,
• MS Office,
• MVC Web Application.

Required Competencies:

• Excellent writing, documenting, and communication skills in English.
• Excellent computer literacy skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of networks and network principles.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software programming concepts and techniques.
• DevOps knowledge and experience advantageous.
• Knowledge of data backup and recovery principles advantageous.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

• Driver of a light motor vehicle on public roads.
• Normal office and Toll Plaza environment.
• Extensive work using a computer.
• Traveling.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Software Development:

• Develop, create, and modify computer applications software.
• Analyze user needs and design software solutions.
• Customize software for client use to optimize operational efficiency.
• Analyze and design databases within an application area.
• Modify existing software to correct errors or improve performance.
• Consult with customers about software system design and maintenance.
• Participate in R&D activities to enhance performance and functionality.
• Maintenance and Administration:

• Report to management on system status.
• Investigate, analyze, and resolve system errors.
• Liaise with third-party vendors/suppliers to resolve system problems.
• Ensure software license compliance.
• Maintain system documentation.
• Interface with clients to address and resolve issues.
