Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

You will be a team member of a larger product team that focusses on the development and support of several mission critical components. You will be working on large scale fault tolerant systems and thrive to always improve the resiliency of systems.



You will work closely with the development team and the product owner and beresponsible for the planning and coordination of all "Design for Run" activities.



You will strive to improve the whole lifecycle of services from inception, architecture design through deployment and operating these mission critical systems.



Pair and work closely with developers in cross functional teams.



Degree and or relevant IT Certifications. Minimum of 5 years relevant experience.



Essential skills required:



Infrastructure Management (Cloud and on Prem).



High level skills in the Kubernetes, Automation and Infrastructure.



Solid understanding of infrastructure as code principles and practical experience with Terraform or similar tools.



Hands on experience with Docker, Containerisation and MicroservicesArchitecture.



Solid understanding of monitoring and alerting practices (Grafana, Prometheus, Elasticsearch) and abilityto develop new application metrics.



Advantageous skills:



CI/CD concepts and experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD.



Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems internals and administration.



Problem Management and Incident Management - Proactive and Reactive.



Software development background (C# experience).
