R300 000 - R420 000
Our client is looking for a Senior Services Technician to join their team. The incumbent will assist the Branch Manager with daily operations to maximize the effective and efficient used of the resources and processes to provide fast, accurate services and minimize running costs and sites downtime
Key functions
- Technical qualification or Diesel mechanical Engineering
- Proficiency with MS Office
- A working knowledge of diesel generators, or diesel engines monitoring and controllers such as DeepSea Electronics (DES), Datakom
- Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules
- People management skills
- Effectively manage branch operations (deployment, refueling, collections and servicing)
- Advise Branch Manager of changes in available work vs. staffing levels
- Continually monitor, measure and improve equipment performance and processes improvement
- Forecast and budget resource to satisfy forecasts
- Build and maintain an environment characterized by high productivity and high staff morale
- Ensure a culture of safety through ongoing communication and timely completion of safety initiatives and reinforce safe work habits
- Implement approved recommendations for creating a professional appearance and ensure accessibility of our facilities
