Role Description

This is a 5 month contract role for a Server Engineer based on-site in Centurion. The Server Engineer will be responsible for daily server maintenance, troubleshooting issues, managing databases, and overseeing infrastructure. The role also includes working with various operating systems, including Windows, to ensure smooth and efficient server operations.

Qualifications

CompTIA Server+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator VMware VCP or VCTA Red Hat RHCSA (for Linux-heavy environments) Azure Administrator Associate / AWS SysOps Administrator ITIL v4 Foundation Security+, CISSP (advantageous) Skills in Troubleshooting and resolving server issues Experience with managing Databases Knowledge of Infrastructure management Proficiency in Operating Systems and Windows Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to work on-site in Bellville Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
