Senior SAP SD Functional Consultant (Contract) Gauteng/Hybrid - SAP SD - ISB350344
This role is ideal for a consultant who enjoys hands-on SAP SD configuration, production support, and close collaboration with business and IT stakeholders.
You will play a key role in keeping critical invoicing and distribution processes running efficiently, accurately, and in line with regulatory and compliance requirements.

The role combines functional consulting with production support, working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, implement changes, and continuously improve SAP-driven business processes.

Role Level: Advanced
Experience Required: 3+ years SAP SD experience
Product / Team Context
The team supports and enhances enterprise SAP solutions used for vehicle invoicing and cost-of-retail processing. These systems enable efficient, compliant sales and distribution operations for global sales, logistics, finance, and back-office users.
The platform replaces legacy solutions with standardized, integrated SAP-based processes that prioritise automation, performance, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
Relevant IT or Business Degree, or equivalent SAP certifications
Minimum 3 years SAP SD consulting experience
Hands-on experience in operational SAP environments

Key Responsibilities
Monitor SAP interfaces including IDoc and RFC processing
Receive, analyse, resolve, and close operational and maintenance tickets within defined SLAs
Execute SAP configuration changes aligned to business requirements
Analyse and resolve production support issues
Create and maintain solution guides and documentation
Ensure effective knowledge transfer within the team
Engage with stakeholders via meetings, calls, and written communication
Collaborate with consultants across local and international teams
Participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
Use Agile toolchains daily in line with team and delivery requirements
Perform additional responsibilities as defined in the Agile Working Model
