Our client is seeking a Senior SAP Engineering Specialist with deep expertise in SAP BTP and Work Zone to lead the design and implementation of unified digital workspaces.
You will be responsible for integrating complex back-end systems like S/4HANA and SuccessFactors into a seamless, role-based portal that serves as the central "Digital Front Door" for enterprise users.
The role involves high-level configuration and implementation within an Agile/DevOps delivery model, ensuring secure access control and world-class operational excellence for a global IT landscape.

Product / Team Context This role is essential for streamlining the user experience across the global production network.
By implementing SAP Work Zone, you will enable digitised, automated IT processes that ensure audit-ready, transparent, and reliable information management to support timely market access.
Qualifications & Experience
Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Minimum 5+ years in SAP portal, Fiori, or Work Zone implementations
Proven track record delivering end-to-end Work Zone solutions from design to operations
Essential Skills & Technologies
Core Stack: SAP Work Zone (Configuration, Spaces, Pages, Cards, Content Management)
Integration: SAP Launchpad, SAP Fiori, and SAP BTP services (UI5 & Cloud Foundry)
Security: Identity & Access Management (SAML, OAuth, SAP IAS/IPS integration)
Front-End: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and SAPUI5/Fiori elements
Connectivity: Integration techniques including OData, REST APIs, and GraphQL
Back-End Systems: Connectivity to S/4HANA, ECC, or SuccessFactors
Advantageous skills
Industry certifications in SAP Work Zone, SAP Fiori, or SAP BTP
Hands-on experience with Kyma runtime and extension development
Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines for BTP deployments
Expertise in WCAG accessibility standards and adaptive UI design
Advanced experience with personalization and role-based content delivery
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of SAP Work Zone structures
Define integration approaches between Work Zone and SAP back-end systems
Configure secure authentication and authorization flows using SAP IAS/IPS
Implement personalization and role-based content delivery for tailored user experiences
Troubleshooting and performance tuning for portal and Work Zone components
Manage content lifecycle, versioning, and permissions in enterprise portals
