Job Description

Our client is seeking Senior SAP BW/BPC Consultants with strong engineering and analytical skills to support a leading financial institution in delivering complex data solutions. The role will focus on developing features within SAP BW, BPC and potentially PaPM, supporting production stability and contributing to cloud transformation initiatives.
You will be part of an Agile team aligned to the client's SAFE Agile Operating Model, contributing to engineering, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP BW/BPC/PaPM Development:

• Design, develop and configure features in SAP BW (and possibly PaPM) based on user requirements.
• Build data flows, integration patterns and develop in alignment with DevOps practices.
• Apply data governance, management and security standards across data transit and storage.
• Conduct component integration testing and support system integration testing.
• Plan and execute cutover/migration activities; deploy solutions to production.
• Contribute to technical architecture discussions and cloud enablement strategies.

Production Support:

• Troubleshoot and resolve post-deployment issues or reconciliation breaks.
• Share knowledge and skills with internal teams; contribute to automation and system stability.
• Maintain and support existing SAP BW and PaPM solutions.

Agile/Program Support:

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (PI Planning, Stand-ups, System Demos, etc.).
• Provide regular updates to Scrum Master and Engineering Leads.
• Ensure accurate reporting and status updates in tools like Jira.
• Own and deliver assigned user stories within allocated PI/Sprint cycles

Deliverables / Outputs:

• Engineering documentation, effort estimations, testing results and cutover plans.
• Successfully implemented features across SAP BW, BPC and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Effective delivery of sprint commitments aligned with the SAFE Agile operating model.
• Resolved production defects and stability support artifacts.

Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum Qualification:

• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.

Certifications (Required/Advantageous):

• SAP BW Certification required
• SAP PaPM Certification advantageous

Experience:

• 8+ years working with SAP BW/BPC solutions.
• Strong understanding of technical objects and data flow in SAP BW.
• Experience with data modeling, financial systems, and accounting.
• Exposure to DevOps, cloud platforms and Agile delivery environments.
• Prior experience supporting SAP PaPM and participating in cloud transformation journeys is a strong advantage.
