Focus on building client relationship, closing deals to drive sales vis achieving targets.
Role involves interacting with wholesales, hardware stores and construction contractors.
Therefore, a strong understanding of construction - related products and hardware tooling market would be advantages.
Key Responsibility Indicators
Pursuing new and existing opportunities within the construction and hardware sector.
Maintain and build strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
Pitching / presenting product in terms of service solution (vis) securing deals.
Product knowledge is crucial to successful sales pitch and negotiations.
Demonstrating a thorough understanding of products service-related construction and hardware industry specific knowledge:
Masonry - Tiling Equipment - Abrasives - Core Drilling - TCT Tools Power Tools - Stone Industry - Plant and Machinery Equipment Advantages - General Consumables Facilitating both industries.
Required Skill:
Strong sale experience, opening and closing skills, and the ability to generate leads.
Confident verbal and written communication inclusive negotiation skill.
Ability to build client rapport and trust with clients.
A result - orientated and sales -driven mindset with deep understanding of the South African construction market and hardware retail market.
Accurate reporting records of sales activities via
Achieving monthly and / or quarterly sales target goals.
MS Outlook (basic proficiency) inclusive Skynamo Sales (real - time insights into sales activity by customer)
Specific External Sales Experience:
Minimum 3 - 5 years sales experience in the construction and hardware products services and / or related fields preferred.
Existing clients base would be hugely advantages.
Additional Consideration: Aged between 25 years - 40 years preferred.
Driver's License
Valid driver's licence and own transport required for client visits
Language Skills:
Proficiency in English and / or Afrikaans preferred
Travel:
Some roles may require travel to different project sites or client locations
