Job Description
Minimum requirements for the role:
- Sales experience withing the steel industry experience is fundamental.
- A technical/commercial qualification will be an added advantage.
- A minimum 3 years leadership experience.
- Must have a successful track record of implementing a commercial sales strategy.
- Strong ability to secure complex deals (SME to enterprise).
- Developing the medium- and long-term go-to-market strategies, including the process of customer acquisition.
- Growing the companys footprint into new markets, regions and products.
- Developing strategic partnerships with major consumers of flat steel products in South Africa in line with the overall business strategy and revenue targets.
- Acquiring and processing key market information to enhance strategic decision making.
- Developing the Revenue Budget per target sector, region and product lines.
- Motivating and developing a sales team in executing the companys sales strategy.
