The Senior Sales Consultant is responsible for driving the growth of the firm by building a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities within target market segments, including service-based, product-centric, and mid-market companies.
This role requires proactive engagement, strategic account planning, and the achievement of agreed-upon sales quotas. The consultant must leverage the company's strong partner status with leading software vendors to secure high-level credibility during C-suite engagements.
Salary: R46 000 - R66 000 basic per month.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure the achievement of individual and team sales targets for software licenses and associated consulting services.
Develop and meticulously maintain a healthy pipeline of qualified new business opportunities, focusing on high-value, complex ERP sales cycles.
Understand and diagnose complex client requirements, delivering expert demonstrations and solution presentations that directly address client pain points using the appropriate software solution (e.g., X3, Intacct, or 300).
Prepare weekly sales reports and actively participate in market strategy planning to optimize outreach effectiveness.
Manage strategic relationships with software channel partners and internal functional teams to coordinate seamless proposal generation and solution delivery.
Actively articulate the transformative business benefits of enterprise solutions across finance, operations, and people management responsibilities for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs).
Job Specifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):
A proven track record as an Account Executive or External Sales Consultant achieving or exceeding challenging quotas in the complex software or ERP industry.
Experience selling mid-to-large-market ERP systems (e.g., Sage X3, Intacct, 300, or comparable competitors like Dynamics/SAP Business One) is highly preferred.
Demonstrated strategic thinking and the ability to manage long, multi-stage sales cycles typical of ERP software procurement.
Exceptional negotiation skills and the ability to articulate business value at the executive level.
