KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:

Daily Cash ups Management of face value documents Maintenance and improvement of internal controls Processing and reconciliation sundry debtors Process the additional revenue journals, credit notes, transfers, and refunds Maintenance and clearance of the unallocated receipts list Management of the banking office

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:

Planning and Organising Microsoft Office Knowledge and understanding of PFMA Business and financial management principles Statutory requirements e.g. financial, HR, Labour relations Service Level Agreement framework Operational policies and procedures Management Accounting Principles Financial Control Techniques Financial and Accounting Systems Knowledge and understanding of GRAP Knowledge and understanding of IFRS

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

Communication Skills Customer Service Teamwork Service Delivery Innovation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant NQF 6 qualification in Accounting

Ideal:

B.Com (Accounting)

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

3 years' experience at a financial accounting level.
