A national lifestyle retailer with a strong footprint across South Africa is looking for a Senior Retail Planner. Reporting to the Head of Planning, this role is suited to someone who is methodical, analytical, and confident working with data to support operational and commercial decisions.

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain planning schedules to support operational and sales goals
Analyse performance data and trends to forecast needs and manage inventory
Monitor supply and demand, adjusting plans to meet business objectives
Collaborate with departments such as Buying, Logistics, HR, and Operations
Prepare performance and variance reports with practical recommendations
Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate data and analysis
Identify risks and bottlenecks, and propose corrective actions
Maintain planning tools and databases to ensure data accuracy
Assist with process improvements to strengthen planning and execution
Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Retail Management, or a related field

• 2-5 years' experience in planning, forecasting, or analytics (preferably in retail or operations)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel and planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA)

• Attention to detail and ability to manage pressure

• Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills
