Job Description

Join a well-established Civil Engineering Consulting Firm recognised for delivering major bridge and road infrastructure projects across South Africa. This is an excellent opportunity for a professionally registered Resident Engineer to apply their expertise in bridge and large culvert construction supervision on high-value infrastructure projects. You will play a key role on site, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance while contributing to the successful delivery of complex structural works that have a lasting impact on regional connectivity and development.

  • BEng / BSc Eng or BTech / Advanced Diploma in Civil Engineering
  • Professionally registered with ECSA as Pr Eng or Pr Tech Eng
  • 10+ years post-registration experience (Pr Eng) or equivalent experience for Pr Tech Eng
  • Proven experience in supervision of major bridge construction, including reinforced and prestressed concrete bridges
  • Demonstrated experience in supervision of large culvert construction, including box and multi-cell culverts
  • Strong contract administration and site supervision skills
  • Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and applicable standards
  • Ability to manage quality, programme, health and safety, and reporting on large infrastructure sites
