A well-established consultancy based in Fourways, Johannesburg North, is seeking a Senior Reporting Consultant to join their dynamic finance team. This role is suited to a highly capable finance professional who enjoys working with large clients across multiple industries and thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment.
The ideal candidate will hold a BCom degree and come with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a Finance Manager role. Strong technical knowledge of financial statements, budgets, and reporting is essential. The position requires someone who has experience preparing management packs, building financial models from scratch, and who is confident engaging directly with clients. A modelling assessment will form part of the recruitment process. Personality fit is important, as the role demands strong interpersonal and client relationship skills. Travel to clients will be required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare comprehensive reporting packs and management accounting packs.
- Analyze and interpret financial statements, budgets, and performance data.
- Build customized financial models and provide strategic insights.
- Work closely with large clients across various industries.
- Deliver high-quality reporting solutions and advisory support.
- Engage with stakeholders and ensure strong client service delivery.
- Travel to client sites as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
- BCom degree required.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a Finance Manager role.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and budgeting processes.
- Experience building financial models (modelling test applicable).
- Proven exposure to large, diverse client portfolios.
- Strong communication style and a positive, professional personality.
- Willingness to travel for client engagements.
