Location: * *Dublin/Leinster, Ireland ** Sector: * *Construction Vacancy Type **Permanent Full-Time Our client are looking for South African candidates who are willing to relocate to Ireland. They are currently recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to ensure effective delivery of all the commercial requirements of the project. Description Our prestige client is an industry-leading construction company who consistently and successfully delivers complex construction projects. They have comprehensive expertise across all sectors, including Data Centres, Pharma/Life Sciences, Industrial, Healthcare, Commercial & Retail, Fitout, Residential & Student Accommodation, Tourism & Leisure, Public, Transport, Energy/Renewables, and Civil Infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Ensure effective delivery of all the commercial requirements of the project.
- Responsible for controlling costs and ensuring budgets are achieved.
- Provide accurate and informed reporting of the commercial performance of the project.
- Managing the preparation and evaluation of subcontract packages and assist in the preparation of interim and final valuations.
- Assist the Senior Contract Surveyor to coach and motivate surveyors on the project.
- Relevant Third level Degree.
- 10 yearsxe2x80x99 experience preferably with a main contractor.
- Previous projects experience on Construction/Civil Engineering projects is preferred.
- Chartered or working towards chartership.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
- Excellent IT skills.
