Job Summary
SENIOR QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN (GENERATOR/BOILERS & PUMPS) / PORT ELIZABETH/GQEBERHA
The successful Candidate will be required to manage himself, and work from home. There will be extensive travel around the Eastern Cape and company vehicle will be provided. MUST BE prepared to be on emergency call out, if and when required, flexible, willing to travel, and of sober habits.
Minimum Requirements
Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic/Millwright or Fitter (Trade Test to be submitted with application) non-negotiable
Must be experienced in re-fuelling generators, installations, repair and maintenance
Must be experienced with pumps, and plant equipment (advantageous)
Physically fit with good energy levels
Minimum Code 08 Driver's license
Excellent work ethic - Positive attitude, honest, reliable, hardworking, dedicated and takes pride in work carried out, Team Player
Exceptional customer service
Sober habits (due to call outs)
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety
Responsibilities
Service and repairs to the following;
Deutz Diesel - Repairs to various models change out the push rod tube seals and complete maintenance and various repairs to the 5,6,4-cylinder Deutz diesel engine and fan system. F3M 2011
Deutz diesel 6 cylinders change out all 6 injector pumps and injectors Bomag 10T roller. Road paver replace injectors and pumps, shims
Services of John Deere generators and repairs
Detroit V8 Super charger repair and services
Set up of governors and testing engine
Volvo Penta engine repairs changing of injectors and pump's fault finding and services - TAD734GE. TAD731GE. TAD733GE. TAD531GE
Cat services and repairs C15.3412.3304.3306
Perkin engines service and fitting of injector pump and getting engine timing correct, testing and fault finding
Lovol engine repairs injector pump refit and services
Lister engine 6 cyl repairs and services
Mobile generator repairs 6 kva gen sets
Repairs to clarifiers and geysers eg. Remove and replace elements and remove and replace geysers.
Salary - market related depending on experience
